Aims: This study was conducted under Hatay, Turkey ecological conditions in the second crop season and aimed to determine effect of irrigation numbers amounts on some quality characteristics popcorn (Zea mays everta Sturt.)Methods Results: Antcin 98 cultivar cultivated Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Research Area 2015 five managements as follows: (I1) 12 times (1757 mm), (I2) 8 (1449 (I3) 6 (1148 (I4) 5 (989 mm) (I5) 4 (800 mm). After harvest, analysis were carried out with repetitions for each treatment kernel size, crude protein, oil ash ratios determined. It’s revealed that all parameters investigated significantly affected by managements. According results; lowest grain size (89.00 grains 10 g-1) highest protein ratio (10.59%) obtained from I5 treatment, while (2.04%) (5.74%) I4 treatment. It determined number decreased, increased, increased a certain level then decreased. With correlation performed, significant positive relationships between (r = 0.686) 0.852). Conclusions: The results showed excessive irrigations cannot increase which directly affects popping volume, is one most important criteria popcorn, However, nutritional values can be changed applying different concluded similar growing climatic conditions, produced total 989 mm water.Significance Impact Study: effects grown conditions.
